Privacy policy
Effective October 12, 2026
Content Studio Ops ("the tool") is a private tool used only by its owner to manage the owner's own YouTube channels and Facebook Pages. This policy explains what data the tool accesses, how it is used and stored, and how to remove it.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using the tool you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data the tool accesses
- Google and YouTube: with the owner's permission, the tool accesses the owner's YouTube channel information, videos, playlists, captions, thumbnails, comments on the owner's videos, and YouTube Analytics reports for the owner's channels. It uploads and updates videos and their details when the owner approves them.
- Facebook: with the owner's permission, the tool accesses the Facebook Pages the owner manages, publishes posts the owner approves, and reads Page insights and comments on those Pages.
- The tool does not collect data about other people beyond what appears in public comments on the owner's own channels and Pages, and it does not use cookies, trackers or advertising identifiers.
How the data is used
Data is used only to publish the owner's content, to show the owner how that content performs, and to let the owner read and reply to comments. It is never sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
How the data is stored
- All data is stored on the owner's own computer. Sign-in tokens are kept in the operating system's encrypted keychain. Content records and statistics are kept in a local database.
- The tool has no servers of its own and sends data only to the platforms it works with (YouTube and Facebook), through their official APIs.
- Statistics about channels the owner does not own are not stored beyond 30 days.
Revoking access and deleting data
- Google access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page (Third-party apps and services). Once access is revoked, the stored token stops working, and any YouTube data held for that account is deleted from the local database within 30 days.
- Facebook access can be removed in Facebook Settings, under Apps and Websites. See data deletion for full steps.
- Requests to delete any data can be sent to the contact address below and are completed within 30 days.
Children
The tool is not directed to children and is used only by its adult owner.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
